About this image:

There is a place in Lithuania named Hill of Crosses where people bring crosses and statues of Jesus and pictures and medallions and rosaries and the hill - more hillock than a hill - is totally covered with religious paraphernalia. It is strange and weird place, in the middle of nowhere, major pilgrimage destination blessed by Pope John Paul II.
