Description
Blinded but not blind. Just the opposite. They can see for miles and miles. The hood is to calm them down; they get spooked easily by sudden movements. It is a bit sad to see these magnificent creatures tamed but it gives you the opportunity to see them up close. In China, you can see them very often in markets and places frequented by tourists and for a buck or two you can have a picture taken with a falcon perched on your arm. This one though is from New York, his name is Freddie, he was a part of environmental exhibition.
